Intensive Journaling for Emotional Healing workshop

Four decades of applied research support the practice of intensive writing about personal experiences with consistent evidence for improved health outcomes, including stress relief, recovery from trauma, and overall emotional and physical well-being.

This 3-hour workshop is focused on timed, guided, intensive writing experiences in a small group setting with a skilled facilitator. All materials will be provided, including a light snack and  water and kombucha. Each timed writing session will be followed by a short break and we will end the workshop with a 45-minute restorative yoga session. 

9 am - Check-in and receive journal/pens

9:15 - Facilitator gives overview of research and process

9:30 - First timed session

9:45 - Break

10 am - 2nd timed session

10:15 - Break

10:30 - 3rd timed session

10:45 - Break

11 am - 4th timed session

11:15 - Restorative Yoga session

12 pm - workshop ends

Please note: This is not a writing workshop and no written material will be shared with the group. The purpose of the exercises is for personal healing and transformation through the act of intensive writing with expert guidance in a safe and supportive setting. 

Meets: 9am-12pm, Saturday, July 27 

Cost: $45/person, limited to 10 participants.
